APPLICATION
Have you ever wanted to be Queen for a day? Well here's your chance... as Miss Strawberry, official hostess of the Vista Strawberry Festival. This is a fun, one day pageant open to young women who live in San Diego county (zips 919-921) age 14-21 on festival date (May 24, 2020).
There will be (1) Strawberry Queen and (1) runner up selected by a panel of judges. Entry fee is $30, deadline to enter is May 1.
Same day rehearsal 10am-noon. Pageant begins at 1pm.
Eligibility:
- Young women aged 14-21 as of May 24, 2020. (Festival date)
- Resident of San Diego County (zip codes 919-921)
Requirements:
- Strawberry-themed ( or shades of red) short party dress
- Prepared 1 minute speech
Categories:
Contestants will be judged based on (3) categories:
- Self introduction-15 pts
- Poise & personality- 20 pts
- Impromptu question- 15 pts
Appearances:
Winners will be required to make appearances* as follows:
- Wed. May 13 , 2020 Vista Business Mixer 5pm-7pm
- Sun. May 24, 2020.Vista Strawberry Festival 7am-4pm
